With a Master of Science in Information Technology from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor's in Information Science from SUNY Albany, Marisa spent over a decade building a career at the intersection of people and technology. As an Infrastructure Support Specialist at Epicor Software, she maintained robust server, workstation, and network environments for 145+ enterprise organizations — achieving 98–100% satisfaction scores and ranking among the top female engineers nationally. Before that, she helped grow a farm's digital presence to over 1 million website views in five years, positioning it among the top 1% of GoDaddy-hosted sites worldwide.
Creativity has always run alongside the technical work. Marisa has a deep background in web design, DIY skincare and soap making, herbal medicine, and handcrafted food artistry. Blush & Boards was born from a love of beautiful gatherings — and became a real business. Roseaurea Co. followed from years of making small-batch soaps, herbal salves, serums, and wellness products at home with carefully sourced botanicals. Every product is made the way she'd want it made: with intention, quality ingredients, and care.
In 2021, Marisa spent time as a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach, developing comprehensive monthly guided nutrition programs and an ambitious 14-week healing program that wove together nutrition, chakra work, and guided meditation. She is also a Reiki master — a healing practice that continues to inform how she approaches wellness, product formulation, and the belief that caring for yourself is a whole-body practice, not just a physical one. That chapter never ended; it evolved into the heart of Roseaurea.
